Perched high above the sity, both literally and metaphorically, HANU offers outstanding Korean cuisine at the rooftop of St. Regis Gardens. This new restaurant, crafted by Sunset Hospitality Group, seamlessly blends the aesthetics of Seoul with the vibrant rhythm of Dubai.

Each table is equipped with personal, Korean-made charcoal grills. The interior is adorned with dark wood, vintage furniture, and bronze doors, transporting you to another cultural realm. The menu primarily focuses on various meats but offers much more. It features a range of dishes from Korean tartare to crispy bulgogi, from kimchi to exquisite vegetarian options. All dishes are served Hansik-style, reminiscent of home-cooked meals but without the hassle.

Kyung Soo Moon

Chef Moon brings 20 years of experience from restaurants in Korea, Singapore, Australia, and Dubai. He has trained under Michelin-starred chefs and holds certifications as a sake sommelier and fugu fish master. At HANU, Chef Moon excels in creating an atmosphere where tradition meets innovation, and flavors carry deeper meanings beyond their initial taste.

Gerbou is a contemporary Arabic cuisine restaurant and educational project. The menu highlights the culinary traditions of the Emirates and reveals new aspects of the local culture. In 2025, the restaurant was honored with the Prix Versailles architecture prize.

After relocating to the UAE from Europe, Chef Catau dedicated a year to thoroughly studying Emirati culinary traditions. There was also significant fieldwork: for several months before the opening, the Gerbou team hosted dinners featuring a special tasting menu. Many of these dishes became popular favorites, and the restaurant continues to serve them.

The restaurant has received the Bib Gourmand mention from the Michelin guide.

Sufret Maryam is decorated to resemble a cozy private villa, complete with a wood-fired stove and a large table in the middle of the living room. The menu specializes in Levantine cuisine, served in an atmosphere of Middle Eastern hospitality.

Chef Salam Daqqaq excels in organizing the surrounding space to create a truly homelike comfort. She has an array of family recipes and enjoys welcoming guests. Chef Daqqaq gives Leavntine cuisine a contemporary reimagining while preserving its authenticity and spirit. In 2023, Chef Salam was named The Best Female Chef by MENA’s 50 rating. That same year, Forbes magazine listed her as one of the 50 Most Influential Women Over 50.
